In finance, “the AI decided” is not an acceptable record.

Financial operations already run on limits, dual control and evidence. An agent that bypasses them is unusable, whatever its accuracy. AEGIS is designed to carry those controls into autonomous work.

AEGIS has no regulatory certification and is not a compliance product. Nothing on this page is legal or regulatory advice. Regulated firms must assess any system against their own obligations.

Set the line

Limits should be policy, not hope.

Move the unattended limit and watch the synthetic decisions change. One payment stays denied at any limit, since a limit cannot make an unapproved vendor acceptable.
Synthetic invoiceVendorAmountGuard decision
INV-1041Alder Packaging$3,240.00Allow
INV-1042Brightline Logistics$18,600.00Require approval
INV-1043Corvane Industrial$7,450.00Require approval
INV-1044Dunmore Supplies$1,980.00Allow
INV-1048Holt & Marsh$2,750.00Deny

Unattended $5,220.00. Needs a person $26,050.00. Denied $2,750.00, at any limit, because the vendor is not in the approved master. Simulated.

Controls

Familiar controls, applied to agents.

Authorization limits

Amount limits are part of the Mandate and are enforced outside the model.

Dual control

The person who requested the work cannot approve it, and multi-step approvals are planned for Enterprise.

Evidence with approvals

Approvers see the exact parameters and the verification results behind them.

Exception handling

Changed bank details or PO variances hold a payment for review. They are not resolved by a model.

Audit trail

A tamper-evident record links each action to a decision, rule and person.

Unknown outcomes

If a payment instruction may or may not have gone through, the step stops for reconciliation rather than retrying.

Example patterns

Examples of what AEGIS is designed to support. None describes a customer deployment. Most start read-only.

Where we are

Fintech first. Banks later.

A pre-release platform is not ready for a regulated bank's vendor risk process. We expect to work first with fintech and finance-operations teams, on non-production data, and to earn the evidence needed for anything more.

See it run

The demo uses this exact scenario.

Eight synthetic invoices, one unlisted vendor, one recent bank change, one PO variance.
